Daryl Hall and John Oates recently shared the trailer for their new documentary Daryl Hall & John Oates: From Philly to Chile, now streaming on Paramount+.

The documentary follows the duo’s live in 2019 when they performed in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Santiago, Chile; and Sao Paolo, Brazil for the first time.

“It was a blast playing for all the amazing fans in South America who have been waiting so long for us to finally get there,” Oates told Consequence, adding that he can’t even describe “how much I appreciate their energy.” Hall chimes in by saying their trip to the region was “fascinating in every way.”

There’s a new emo supergroup in town! My Chemical Romance‘s Frank Iero, Coheed and Cambria‘s Travis Stever, Circa Survive’s Anthony Green, and Thursday’s Tim Payne and Tucker Rule have teamed up to form L.S. Dunes. The band will release its debut album Past Lives on November 11th via Fantasy Records.

Produced by Justin Delieck and mixed by Steve Sopchack, the song continues the series the band launched in 2020 with Another Life/Eternally Yours: Motion Picture Collection EP, which featured the band adding orchestral elements to their brutal songs.
