Hall and Oates release trailer for new documentary
Daryl Hall and John Oates recently shared the trailer for their new documentary Daryl Hall & John Oates: From Philly to Chile, now streaming on Paramount+.
The documentary follows the duo’s live in 2019 when they performed in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Santiago, Chile; and Sao Paolo, Brazil for the first time.
“It was a blast playing for all the amazing fans in South America who have been waiting so long for us to finally get there,” Oates told Consequence, adding that he can’t even describe “how much I appreciate their energy.” Hall chimes in by saying their trip to the region was “fascinating in every way.”

CONTRACULT Collective tease new album, announce new single
Our favorite industrial outfit CONTRACULT Collective returns with new music this fall.
The band recently teased new music on their socials dropping album art with the caption “The New Torment begins 11/04/22.” While they didn’t specifically state whether the release is a new album, it’s safe to assume a new record is coming our way in November.

Previously, CONTRACULT Collective dropped standalone single “Meek” along with a Floorless remix of their song “K.”
Members of My Chemical Romance, Coheed and Cambria, and more form supergroup L.S. Dunes
There’s a new emo supergroup in town! My Chemical Romance‘s Frank Iero, Coheed and Cambria‘s Travis Stever, Circa Survive’s Anthony Green, and Thursday’s Tim Payne and Tucker Rule have teamed up to form L.S. Dunes. The band will release its debut album Past Lives on November 11th via Fantasy Records.
To preview the album, the band have shared new single “Permanent Rebellion.” Talking about the track, Iero said “We never knew if we would ever get to play these songs together, in fact none of us lifelong musicians really knew if we’d ever be able to play music for a live audience ever again. ‘Permanent Rebellion’ is about taking back what is rightfully yours.”

L.S. Dunes also announced a short run of North American tour dates starting September 16th at Chicago’s Riot Fest and wrapping up in Baltimore on November 30th. See the full itinerary and tickets here.

Motionless In White share ‘Motion Picture Collection’ version of ‘Masterpiece’
Motionless In White have released the “Motion Picture Collection” version of fan favorite single “Masterpiece.” The new version sees the band reimagining, reconstructing, and reinvigorating the Scoring the End of the World single.
Produced by Justin Delieck and mixed by Steve Sopchack, the song continues the series the band launched in 2020 with Another Life/Eternally Yours: Motion Picture Collection EP, which featured the band adding orchestral elements to their brutal songs.
