Architects Announce New Album ‘The Classic Symptoms Of A Broken Spirit’
A little over a year after the release of their excellent 2021 album, For Those That Wish To Exist, Architects are already back with their next album.
Titled the classic symptoms of a broken spirit, the album drops October 21st via Epitaph. The record was produced by the band’s own Dan Searle and Josh Middleton, with additional production by frontman Sam Carter at Deacon’s Middle Farm Studios and the band’s headquarters, Electric Studios in Brighton. Shortly after the release of their 2021 album, the band went back into the studio. Thrilled at being in the same room together once again, the album is “free, playful and spontaneous” as a result, according to Searle.
Along with the album announcement, Architects have shared the record’s lead single “tear gas.” Watch the video below.

Architects will head out on their fall North American tour in September. Afterward, they will join Biffy Clyro’s UK arena tour in November. Tickets are on sale now. Check out those dates here.
