Green Day Helps ‘Stranger Things’ Star Get A Date In ‘Meet Me On The Roof’

Green Day’s new album, Father of All Motherfuckers, is finally here! To celebrate its release, the band shared the new music video for “Meet Me On the Roof.”

The clip, Brendan Walter & Greg Yagolnitzer, the video stars Stranger Things‘ Gaten Matarazzo as a lovestruck teenager trying to impress his crush. He sets up a party on the rooftop and tries to pull off a motorcycle stunt, similar to his crush’s idol “Mad” Willie Jackson, played by Billie Joe Armstrong. With some help from Jackson, Matarazzo wins her over and becomes the coolest kid in school.

Father of All Motherfuckers is out now. Green Day will support the album with the Hella Mega tour, which kicks off March 8th in Singapore before it moves to North America in July. They’ll embark on an Australian leg in November. Check out all their dates here.
