Are Deftones Teasing A September Release For Their New Album?

Over the past few days, Deftones have been posting cryptic teasers on their social media pages, which could be related to their highly anticipated new album.

The band blacked out the profile photos on all its social media pages, suggesting something big is on the way. They also updated their official site URL, which now reads “deftones.com/0925” hinting that the new album will be released September 25th.

Adding fuel to the fire, they also posted the cryptic message “No you will never find me” on Twitter. The line comes from their song “One Weak” off their debut LP, Adrenaline. Are they saying we should expect more news in a week? We’ll just have to stay tuned.

Meanwhile, Deftones are gearing up to release a 20th-anniversary edition of White Pony, which will come with a bonus remix album titled Black Stallion. While there’s no official date, the band plans to release it this year.
