Asking Alexandria Teases New Music With Cryptic Phones Calls

Asking Alexandria is gearing up to release new music and you can hear a sample of what’s to come. All you have to do is dial this number: 1-424-373-VLNC (1-424-373-8562).

The band tweeted a cryptic video clip of a small television bearing the number to dial. When you dial the number, you’re greeted by a voice saying “Welcome, due to the high volume of callers we need to place you on a brief hold. Please stay on the line,” before a garage-rock riff kicks up. The music abruptly stops and the robotic voice ends the call by saying, “Lock your doors and stay inside. Stay alert. Prepare yourself — the violence is coming. You’ll be hearing from us shortly.”

As if that wasn’t ominous enough, a text message arrives shortly after the call, which reads: “The violence is coming…Submit your info to not miss any updates.”

We don’t know what this means, but we know something big is coming from Asking Alexandria soon.

Asking Alexandria is currently on their summer tour. They will embark on their North American tour with Papa Roach, Shinedown, and Savage After Midnight this fall. The trek kicks off September 17th in Roanoke, Virginia. Tickets are on sale now. Check out all their dates here.
