Foo Fighters Reveal Josh Freese As Their New Drummer
Foo Fighters have revealed their new drummer.
During their free global Preparing Music for Concerts livestream this past Sunday, the band revealed that The Vandals’ Josh Freese will be filling in on drums for their tour. In the past Freese has worked with The Offspring, Paramore, Danny Elfman, and Nine Inch Nails.
Along with the Freese’s reveal, the livestream included special cameos from other elite drummers, including Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith, Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee and Tool’s Danny Carey. So far, no word on whether Freese will be the band’s permanent new drummer.
During the event the band played an eight-song set, which included the debut of new track “Nothing At All,” which will be featured on their upcoming 11th album But Here We Are.
