Hear Foo Fighters’ Raucous New Song ‘ No Son of Mine’

The Foo Fighters ring in the new year with the release of their next single “No Son of Mine.”

Whereas lead single “Shame Shame” saw the band going in a funky, groove-inspired direction, this one is a hard-rocking Motohead-esque anthem filled with a chugging guitar riff, ferocious drums, and Dave Grohl’s screams.

Listen to the song below.

Previously, the band shared “Shame Shame,” the lead single from their upcoming album Medicine at Midnight. The album, which features nine songs produced by the Foo Fighters and Greg Kurstin, will drop on February 5th, 2021.

Before the album’s release, Foo Fighters will headline iHeartRadio’s virtual ALTer EGO festival on January 28th. The event will feature archival performances from Beck, Billie Eilish, Blink-182, Cage the Elephant, The Killers, Muse, Coldplay, and more. The show will stream for free on LiveXLive.com and on the LiveXLive mobile and OTT apps for iOS, Android, Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV, and broadcast live across more than 80 alternative and rock iHeartRadio stations on January 28th starting at 9 PM ET/ 6 PM PT.
