The East Bay Punk Rockers have released so many albums with so many hits that they could fill ten halftime shows. The three-piece is currently on their second US leg of the Revolution Radio Tour and their production includes explosions, pyro, shirt launchers, water pipes and fans who are invited on stage to sing or play guitar with them. The GID staff has seen Green Day five times during this tour only, so we are huge fans. These dudes just know how to put on a great show while involving the audience. Billie Joe Armstrong is also infamous for his political speeches at shows – who doesn’t remember Green Day chanting “No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA at the American Music Awards last year? So giving them the most watched time slot on TV will be quite interesting! We’d soooo love to see that!
