Metallica are doing their part to give back. The band’s charitable foundation, All Within My Hands, has announced four grants totaling $350,000 that will be dedicated to organizations assisting with relief efforts during the coronavirus pandemic.

“In the wake of the spread of the coronavirus, the most vulnerable people in our communities need help now more than ever,” stated the band. The Organizations receiving aid will be Feeding America ($100,000), Direct Relief ($100,000), Live Nation’s Crew Nation ($100,000) and the USBG National Charity Foundation ($50,000).

“We know this is the hardest of times for many of you, but if you would like to support any of these organizations, please feel free reach out directly to our incredibly dedicated partners as the needs are very wide-ranging; every dollar helps,” the band said.

Metallica will continue to raise money through their weekly Metallica Mondays streaming series. So far, fans have raised $15,000 during broadcasts of full concerts from the group’s archive. You can catch these livestreams Monday at 5 p.m. PST.
