NOFX Announce Final Tour
Break out the tissues because NOFX have announced their final tour.
Starting this spring and running through 2024, “The Final Tour” is billed as “40 Years, 40 Cities, 40 Songs Per Day. The trek starts this spring and runs through 2024. So far, the band has announced dates for eight cities so far, including two “campout” weekends.
The tour starts in Austin, Texas with a camping festival at Carson Creek Ranch on April 22nd and 23rd. A similar two-day camping fest goes down in Columbus, Ohio on June 24th and 25th.
A press release states “NOFX will perform 40 songs a night, including full albums and rarities, plus they will never repeat a setlist to ensure that each show is unique.”
And in case you think the band is going on a temporary break up where they will indeed tour again later on down the line, Fat Mike assures us this is actually the end.
“This is not a final tour like Mötley Crüe or Black Sabbath,” he stated. “These are the very last shows NOFX will ever be playing. We are gonna play with all our hearts… With all our joy… And then we are done. We are done done.”
Check out the announced dates for “The Final Tour” below. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 13th at 10 AM local time.
