The Cure To Embark On First South American Tour In 10 Years

The Cure have revealed plans to tour South America as part of their highly anticipated “Songs of a Lost World Tour.”

Frontman Robert Smith shared plans to play shows in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay on Twitter, but said specific dates are still being worked out.

“SORTING OUT THE DEALS IS TAKING A BIT LONGER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD,” he wrote. “MORE DETAILS WHEN THEY EXIST.”

The pending shows would mark the band’s first South American tour in a decade. Fingers crossed that more details will be revealed soon. See Smith’s tweet below.

The Cure will embark on the North American leg of the “Songs of a Lost World Tour” next week in New Orleans. See their full itinerary here.
