The Struts Unveil New Single ‘How Can I Love You (Without Breaking Your Heart)’
The Struts have released their new single “How Can I Love You (Without Breaking Your Heart)” just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Frontman Luke Spiller describes the song as a “brutally honest” rumination on how to handle a heart with care when all you have to offer is caution.
“’How Can I Love You (Without Breaking Your Heart)’ is a brutally honest song that takes me right back to that moment when the phrase came to me,” Spiller explains. “It has a Rod Stewart vibe to it, which is definitely something we haven’t done before. I also adore the backing vocal section, which has a Fleetwood Mac feel that’s never a bad thing. The lyric was labored over for a long time, which I hope people will appreciate.”

“How Can I Love You (Without Breaking Your Heart)” is the first of two new singles The Struts will release this month as part of a digital double A-side. Keep your eyes out for that release soon.
The Struts will join Slash and Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators on their Australian tour followed by a stint with Queens of the Stone Age in Canada before continuing their headline US tour.
Addtionally, Spiller will perform at the 2024 Love Rocks benefit show at the Beacon Theatre in New York on March 7th alongside The Black Keys, Nile Rogers, Hoizer, Tom Morello, and more.
