Madonna Announces 40th Anniversary Tour [UPDATE]

The Queen of Pop is back! Madonna has announced “The Celebration Tour,” which commemorates her 40 years in music.

The 35-city tour kicks off in Vancouver and wraps up October 7th in Las Vegas. She’ll then embark on the UK/European leg of the tour, which started October 14th in London.

UPDATE – January 20th: Due to overwhelming demand, Madonna has added shows in New York, Seattle, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Miami, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas.

“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” the singer said in a statement. Bob the Drag Queen will be the special guest at all shows.

A Live Nation pre-sale starts Thursday, January 19th at 10 AM. General tickets go on sale Friday, January 20th.

Additionally, Legacy members of Madonna’s fan club will get access to a special pre-sale starting today (Jan. 17th) at 12 PM ET for all North American shows and Wednesday, January 18th at 9 AM GMT for all UK/European shows.

The tour promises to be one of Madonna’s biggest highlighting music from every era of her career. To hype up fans, Madonna shared a star-studded promo video featuring Diplo, Judd Apatow, Jack Black, Lil Wayne, Bob The Drag Queen, Kate Berlant, Larry Owens, Meg Stalter, Eric Andre, and Amy Schumer.
