Marilyn Manson And Norman Reedus Get Bloody In ‘Don’t Chase The Dead’

Marilyn Manson has shared his new music video for “Don’t Chase the Dead.”

Directed by Travis Shinn, the clip stars Manson and The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus escaping an art heist gone wrong. Featuring lots of blood, pretty typical for Manson at this point, Manson and Reedus meet their fates by unexpected circumstances.

Watch the video below.

In a recent interview with Consequence of Sound, Manson talked about the song saying:

“That song, when it first started, it started out just with the guitar part that [Shooter Jennings] had. It’s a very driving song, but when it opens up in the chorus, it has very Berlin-era Bowie elements. That was one where Shooter and I both played guitar in the chorus, so we were making sort of a heterodyning element between the two instruments. So it sort of has this postulating feeling of unease but romance at the same time. And it almost sounds like what it’s saying. It sounds like the end of the world, in a way. That really was what I was trying to capture.”

Marilyn Manson’s new album WE ARE CHAOS, out now.
