Corey Taylor Reveals Stone Sour Is On Indefinite Hiatus

Corey Taylor has revealed Stone Sour is on indefinite hiatus. According to the Slipknot frontman, the band has “kinda run its course for now.”

Taylor revealed the news during an interview with Australian podcast The Greenroom with Neil Griffiths. “I feel like Stone Sour has kinda run its course for now. We all talked as a band and decided to kinda put Stone Sour in indefinite hiatus. That’s the way it is,” he said.

He previously mentioned Stone Sour’s hiatus back in June to Eddie Trunk on the Trunk Nation SiriusXM show. “If someday we wanna get back together and do some stuff, it’ll be bigger than it was,” he said. “But for right now, we’re all kind of focused on kind of doing our own thing. But you never say never in this business.”

Meanwhile, Taylor is keeping busy with his upcoming solo album, CMFT, out October 2nd. He recently revealed that he wants to record a second solo album when Slipknot finishes their touring cycle next year. After that, he plans to tour on his own to support both albums.
