The 1975 Celebrate Friendships On New Song ‘Guys’

In anticipation of their upcoming album, Notes On a Conditional Form, The 1975 have shared the new track “Guys.”

Frontman Matt Healy discussed how the song is about the band’s close friends during an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe.

“It came quite easy, that song,” said Healy, “but I think I just wanted to write a love letter to friendship, as opposed to every love song being about our romantic relationships. I think that our friendships are obviously our most formative relationships.” He added, “So shout out to the homies.”

The 1975’s new album, Notes On a Conditional Form, will be released on May 22nd.
