Watch: Madonna and Maluma Strike Up A Steamy Romance In ‘Medellín’ Video

Madonna ties the knot in her new video “Medellín.” The video premiered on Wednesday (April 24th) via live telecast on MTV.

The video starts with Madonna praying under a beam of light. “Dear God,” she says. “How could I trust anyone after years of disappointment and betrayal? How could I not want to run away again and again? Escape. I will never be what society expects me to be. I have seen too much. I cannot turn back. I have been kidnapped, tortured, humiliated, and abused…From now on, I am Madame X. And Madame X loves to dance. Because you can’t hit a moving target.”

From there we see Madonna and Columbian singer Maluma start a steamy romance that leads to a lavish wedding. Watch the video below.

Madonna and Malmua will perform the song at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards on May 1st.

“Medellín” appears in Madonna’s new album, Madame X, out June 14th via Live Nation/Interscope/Maverick.
