Bloc Party have released their new upbeat single “High Life.”

Talking about the new song the band says it was made to capture the feeling of new love and emotional highs during the start of a relationship.“I wanted ‘High Life’ to sound like falling in love again, the start of a new love intertwining, cemented by nights of abandon and stolen moments of intimacy.” said frontman Kele Okereke of the single. “I really wanted it to feel like a celebration.”

The Offspring announce 15th-anniversary edition of ‘Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace’

The Offspring Rise and Fall Reissue

The Offspring will reissue their eighth album Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace to celebrate its 15th anniversary. The album arrives June 16th via Round Hill Records/UMe.

This marks the first time the album will be available on vinyl. Additionally, it will include a bonus 7″ vinyl with two new live tracks recorded at Hellfest in 2022, reimagined artwork on the cover, art lithographs for each song. A digital reissue of the album will include new animated artwork for streaming services.

“We are pumped to be putting out the 15th-anniversary special edition of Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace,” stated lead singer Dexter Holland. “We’ve worked with Round Hill to personally put together this re-release that has special art, a re-imagined album cover, and even a bonus 7″ with a couple of live songs from our Hellfest performance in France last year.”

He continued, “We have always been very proud of this record — it has one of our most well-known songs, ‘You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid’ on it — and we can’t wait to get this special edition out. Enjoy!”

Dream Wife share new single ‘Orbit,’ announce UK/US tour

Dream Wife

Dream Wife have shared their new single “Orbit” from their upcoming album Social Lubrication.

Produced by guitarist Alice Go and mixed by Alan Moulder, the band says the song was “written through the joy of jamming together and locking into the groove like a multi-limbed space-age organism.”

They continue “‘Orbit’ has a dance rock edge from the early ’00s of bands like New Young Pony Club and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Lyrically, it was inspired by post-lockdown London coming back to life and sharing a space through friendship, community and how each day you never know what’s in store for you or how a stranger can become someone close to you – for a day, a heartbeat, a phase, or a lifetime.”

Dream Wife also announced dates for their UK/US tour, which kicks off next month in Reading, UK. Check out all their dates here. Listen to “Orbit” below.

Spiritbox release new song ‘The Void’

Spiritbox announce first-ever headline tour for 2023

Spiritbox have released a new one-off single dubbed “The Void.”

Vocalist Courtney LaPlante said the song “came about very quickly. I didn’t have to fight with anything to write it, and when that happens, I don’t argue with it,” she said in a press release. “It’s a type of song that I’ve been wanting to write for a long time, I’ve heard it hundreds of times now, and it makes me so happy every time I hear it. It’s been such an amazing experience playing this song on our tour, and watching people hear it for the first time, in real time.”
