Empire State Bastard Unveil Brooding New Single ‘The Looming’

Empire State Bastard have unleashed their next single “The Looming” taken from their upcoming debut album Rivers of Heresy.

Following previously released singles “Harvest” and “Stutter” the song is a slow burner with crushing heavy riffs. Meanwhile, Neil sounds hypnotic as he sings “When I get older none of this will be around/when I get older I won’t see you around.”

The band stated, “The end is nigh! The end is looming! Fuck what they told ya!”

Listen to the song below.

The band’s debut album Rivers of Heresy drops September 1st via Roadrunner Records. Pre-order it here.

Empire State Bastard have already spent the year playing a handful of shows and will make their US live debut at Chicago’s Riot Fest on September 17th followed by a New York performance supporting Chat Pile at Le Poisson Rouge on September 20th. Check out all their dates here.
