Avenged Sevenfold Announce New Album ‘Life Is But A Dream’
Avenged Sevenfold returns! The band have announced their highly anticipated new album Life Is But a Dream, out June 2nd. This will be their first album in nearly seven years.
The upcoming album was written and recorded over a four-year period and was inspired by Albert Camus’ novel The Stranger. As a preview, the band have shared the first single “Nobody” along with its stop-motion, which a press release describes as “a fantastic first person view of a dystopian future where beauty arises from chaos culminating in an eye-opening plot twist.”

In support of the new album, Avenged Sevenfold have announced headlining arena shows in Los Angeles and New York City taking place on June 9th and June 23rd respectively. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 17th.
